It all looked very ominous with only 15 minutes gone, as Pontardawe were passing the ball around very well and our posession was very limited.
We soon got into our stride and scored first, which woke us up a bit and we started to play some good football frustrating the 1st division side.
Pontardawe are not in the 1st division for nothing and soon scored an equaliser, although it was still anyones game as both sides pressed for a winner.
Judging from a very vocal Pontardawe dressing room following the game, it seems that Risca Utd benefited far more from this game than their opponents.
Risca Utd looking for a donation/sponsor
Being a non profit voluntary organisation, the purse strings are always very tight and when things crop up unexpectedly it is very difficult for us to purchase certain items. We are looking for anyone that could donate/purchase for us a commercial washing machine and commercial dryer.

R.I.P. STEVE LLEWELLYN - FUNERAL TUESDAY 31st AUGUST 12 NOON _ MORIAH CHURCH RISCA THEN AT RISCA RUGBY CLUB
It is with great regret that I have to report that one of our supporters and former players Dad, Steve Llewellyn has passed away. Steve is the Dad of Blaine who was a former player at Risca United.
Everyone at the club send their condolences to everyone in the Llewellyn family, and can assure Blaine that our thoughts are with him and his family at this sad time.
A minutes silence will be given at our Cwmbran game, as Blaine played for both sides.
